I skipped a step in the photographs. You can see blue paint on the newspaper in the background as I originally did 2 coats of light blue spray. My goal was to do a blue undercoat, then use vinyl letters on the bottom to block off my pal's initials (I've used this method while customizing sneakers with very good results). Unfortunately, the blue paint wasn't going on smooth at all - giving me the crystal-like effect that kept rubbing off! I thought this whole thing might be a wash so I didn't photograph it - but the green looked so much better I picked it up again. But, no initials :(
